Sintra is a smooth PVC type material most commonly used for indoor signs. It looks great for charts, graphs, etc. used in presentations, or wall signs.
Sintra Signs can also be used outdoors. The PVC material used for sintra signs 3 mm thick and is rigid but lightweight. Sintra signs have a longer outdoor life than corrugated plastic material.
However, Sintra (Trovicel sign) is not recommended for long term outdoor applications because the material will expand and contract with sun and heat. This expansion can be large enough to cause problems if it is framed.
